The Rangers are definitely going through the reality of the 2018 Sens - great on paper with no reason not to be an elite team, but seriously underperforming for mysterious reasons.

The skill set of EK65, Spezza, Hossa and Havlat wowed me. The work ethic and heart of guys like Neil, Fisher and Pageau had me yelling LFG!! on numerous occasions. The Pizza line had me believing in a parade down Elgin St.

Team Canada? 🤷‍♂️ Maybe as a 13th fwd to rub shoulders with Canada’s best, to help prepare him for the 2026 Olympics?

I really liked Ullmark’s game except for that one goal, but he was terrific 97% off the time. Losing again sucks, but they’re about to win 7 of their next 9 games and we’ll forget all about this.

Prime A-Train would be incredible on the Sens right now. My head goes to Chara, my heart to EK65, and if you’re thinking 3rd liners, prime Pageau or Fisher would have a big impact too.

I was expecting ppl to say Alfie, but I agree with you that defence (or goaltending) might be more impactful on this roster. Prime Volchenkov would be amazing! My mind went straight to Chara.

If you could bring back one former Sens player in their prime and plunk them right into our starting lineup every night to help fix this team, who would it be?
