I don't think the University of Arizona should have renamed their football stadium after a casino, in an era where sports gambling is already so problematic and corrupt.

I do, however, think that Del Sol Stadium would be a kickass name!

Almost exactly 1 year later, a meeting was called to try to make a decision about the same thing, which had somehow gone undecided for a full year. No decision was made again.

I feel like that experience really summed up the whole project.

For no particular reason 😉, I was reminded today of a game I once worked on.

About a dozen of us were in a meeting trying to make a decision about a particular thing. Opinions were diverse. It got heated. After 2+ hours, the meeting ended with no decision made.

Finally got around to finishing Death Stranding (exactly 2 weeks before sequel releases). Wow, the ending to that game does the exact opposite of “Show, don’t tell.”

Exactly. I consider current LLMs to be about as reliable at writing good code as a junior-level employee. QA by a senior-level human programmer absolutely required.

I personally love the experience of arguing with an AI, explaining how it might fix its own broken code.
