I'm sure I haven't mentioned it here (but did so at the time on the other social...) that this is the collection the index refers to.

Tamura's grammar doesn't use much of the terminology that has become common since it's publication, but the content is top notch.
If you want to know more about Sakhalin Ainu you can have a look at Murasaki's grammar or my works (no self-promotion intended 😁)

Hi there! So, mosir/mosiri mainly means 'land', 'island' or the place where people live as opposed to atuy/rep which is 'sea', and toy means 'ground', 'soil' indicating the element. I hope this helps =)
