Okay, I may be visually impaired but who is CONSTANTLY sending me letters in Braille!? I CAN'T READ BRAILLE!

There's literally nothing else printed with it either so I don't know who's sending my Braille messages!!

Currently Portal 2 doesn't work on the Switch 2, it just crashes after the splash screen which isn't fun. Hopefully it's fixable?

Bruh Portal 2 refuses to play on Switch 2. Just keeps crashing on the splash screen!

Tried drawing Roxanne in the Arcane style because I've been watching it recently and the style is just amazing? 💜

Yeah, I also gave up the game we were playing because with me around, everyone would keep winning because they could just use the void™ to their advantage.

(Footnote, I call my Aniridia the void™ just because it's like a void when you stare at them.)

Forget phone (or any other tech) screens being Black Mirrors, people with Aniridia were the originals.

Honestly. I laughed so much at that because it's just such a weird use of my eye condition but I can't argue with people being resourceful.

To my astonishment, they were still getting all the answers correct despite not having the glasses to mirror the image to them anymore, so again, I asked "How are you doing that?"

Their answer?

"Oh, I can see the reflection in your eyes."

I'd ask the person, quite simply, how many fingers is the person behind you holding up? They would get them right every time, so I asked them if they were cheating. They simply responded with "Oh I can see the reflection in your glasses."

So I took the glasses off and continued as before.

The set up was me, the quiz master, standing with the person being asked the questions facing me, and with the person holding their hands up behind them.

So, for extra context, I was wearing sunglasses at the time because Aniridia also makes you incredibly light sensitive.

Haven't posted in a while so imma talk about the funny thing that happened to me when I have #Aniridia (No irises in my eyes)

So basically, me and some work colleagues were playing: Guess how many hands the person behind you is holding up.

Might be late on the Hubert art this year because my project decided to implode on itself. 💀

If anyone from the UK reads this, please write to your local MP. Many people will be disabled at some point in their life; this affects so many people. Educate them about what PIP is & how it should be improved on in a way that doesn't punish disabled people.

Be kind to each other & stay strong. 🙏🏻

Whether they're in work or not. PIP is there to help supplement the cost of being disabled. In my previous job, it paid for my transport to work (which was half of my pay without PIP), but now it helps me pay bills and eat (as minimal as it may be).

Many others need it for the same reasons & more.

Not to mention how many other disabled people this will affect, and for many, PIP is their lifeline. The only income they get. Cutting that could be a life or death decision.

I wish the government would take the time to read their own legislation, then they'd realise that people can claim PIP 1/2

Being blind is great. /s

Getting a job is difficult because you're seen as a liability or there are "better options"; but then the government doesn't understand why you can't get any work and want to cut welfare.

I hate venting on main but it's so tiring going through this daily. 😭
