He's not explaining it away, it is absolutely unacceptable. However the blame falls on the Israeli government. Not "jews".

That kind of phrasing is what racists read and run with as justification for antisemitic means

I mean it sucks, yeah. I fear homelessness every day but I don't let it bother me because I know that at the bare minimum, the multimillionaire/billionaires now have enough to afford a second island

Well unfortunately you're missing a pretty crucial factor. You're assuming the current administration thinks before they act.

I really can't stand the reps for the democratic party, all the mfs do is sit on social media and talk about "we need to fight" "we need to stop the tyranny" mf YOU are the one who has the ability to make change. YOU'RE the people who have that power, rally together you crock of pussies

26.04.2025 13:19 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

You can't claim to want more, care about children while simultaneously cutting programs that help lower income children be able to be housed, eat, and access medical care

Also 5k? Wtf is 5k gonna do lol, that's not enough to even get them to preschool age

26.04.2025 13:13 β€” πŸ‘ 20    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Again, my point entirely isn't about demand determining price, it's about the third party factors (i.e private entities) having a part to play in housing inflation. I'm disputing your claim that the monopoly has full and total control which, while partially true, doesn't ignore third party factors.

26.04.2025 13:10 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

At no point did I dispute that higher quantity results in lower demand meaning lower price. We've agreed on this the entire time. My point being that there is, in fact, an indirect market relationship between private entities buying up property and the monopoly uncharging

26.04.2025 13:10 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

While all these houses get bought up by the private entities the demand is technically higher which then the monopoly you're referring to has it's "justifications" to gouge more price wise claiming lower quantity when really they're there, it's just sitting vacant on some millionaires possession

26.04.2025 01:45 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Non coordinating? Although I never said it had total control the idea of them not playing in conjunction is almost disingenuous

All the homes owned by these aren't all getting rented out, some sit idle but nonetheless are "off the market" making houses by technicality less available

26.04.2025 01:45 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

If you're going to deliberately miss the point then there's no conversation to be had

26.04.2025 01:20 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

It'd be almost counterintuitive to build more houses when the problem isn't the amount of houses

You build more houses, those same corporations and millionaires buy and rent them out making even more money to buy even more houses… and so on

Its lucrative sure, but detrimental on the lower class

US has no housing shortage β€” but is short on affordable housing Study finds U.S. does not have a housing shortage so much as a lack of affordable housing.

Great question, here you go

Let me dumb it down. The "housing shortage" they're talking about isn't a SHORTAGE OF HOUSES, it is a shortage of AFFORDABLE housing bruh

And the shortage of AFFORDABLE housing is because the million dollar corporations are buying and flipping for unreasonable cost.

You're one google search away.

25.04.2025 22:26 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Even if you only read the first sentence you'd have still seen that i said there is no shortage😹 You have it backwards, there is a housing PROBLEM, not shortage. And the PROBLEM is because of rent going up.

Also even if that were true I'd hope you'd realize how ass backwards that would be lol

Death penalty for one dead millionaire, jail time for school shooters.

Just in case the cutting of social services so the rich get a tax break wasn't evidence enough, one millionaire is more important to this country than hundreds of children.

25.04.2025 20:40 β€” πŸ‘ 47    πŸ” 2    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

There are literally more vacant homes than homeless people. The "housing shortage" is a crock of shit fed to you by the rich buying up all the properties and renting them out for absurd amounts.

The only minority hurting America is the rich
