This morning he asked how they were doing so far and I had to tell him what happened in front of his South Korean employee.

I composed a text to my Czech coworker that said "The Czechs are doing better against the Australians than they did against the South Koreans." and right as I finished typing Curtis Mead connected and I just deleted the text and put my phone down.

Today I saw a Mazda with the vanity plate WEEB, in case anyone in B.C. was wondering why they couldn't get that option.

Nothing wrong with shedding depth to make depth where you need it more, but yup. Things have a way of working out.

How did your parents meet?

My mom was a travelling hippie in Louisiana when she met a group of French Canadians who were there to experience Cajun culture. They were living in a pink school bus in a field. They invited her to party. My dad, a Texan who loved music, had been hanging out with them.

I got no issues there. The trade brought back an actual middle infielder, and positionally he's just a second Davis Schnieder.

We got a new neurologist though so that’s a win.

One thing that I always wonder about with piggybacking/six man situations is the regular bullpen effectively being a guy short. Lauer doesn't help get length for a short Scherzer start if you know he's going to have to get length for a short Yesavage start two days later.

Never felt like a logjam given the age and health of some of the people involved. I didn't guess Peña would be the first one to fall.
