Just rediscovered this post from my website circa 2005. As the caption says, this ad was in the Village Voice shortly after 9/11. Note the highlighted part. I believe I had this on a bulletin board on the wall for a while, or possibly even in my newsroom cubicle at work.

Because algorithms will increasingly suppress human content in favor of AI-generated slop, we should probably bring back the spirit of "web rings," ie good creators should lift up other good creators as part of all the content they post so we can all find the good stuff.
