one miss for me in the side stories and a bunch of hits so far. i wanna say that while these games are relatively uninhibited about sexuality by the neo-regressive standards of the current decade, and feature a lot of liberated and independent women, they're still kinda heteronormative

heading into the last 2? 3? chapters of trails the third but i expect that to be about as large as all the previous ones combined if the last game is anything to go by. plus there's still a ton of side stories left

i saw at least one of these people on cohost and they gave me the same vibe as the management here. just completely oblivious as to why anyone would be mad at them ever

i presume this is true of any other seemingly outlandish belief that any particular group holds. yeah you learn it and maybe repeat it but it's not borne out in the practice of daily life. belief isn't a checkbox in a list of options

"actually believe" is such a load-bearing phrase these days. another thing to thank south park for. i'd bet anything most catholics, except for adult convert edgelords such as the vice president of the united states and various other podcasters, don't "actually believe" in transsubstantiation

i haven't played 2... hard to compare to mgs cos different style and subject matter but i can see the connection i guess
