Ok, new plan: I realised I haven't put together a proper plot outline for book 3. Started that now, and it's... big. Might need a bit of trimming, but with an outline, I can at last start to organise my thoughts, hurah!

I have a lot of reading and research to do before I can really understand how to write Book 3 fully:
1: History and culture of New Orleans.
2: Les Misérables
Am I going over-board for a fan-fiction? I don't think so, not if it is to be my best effort.
This should be fun!
Okay, working on book 3 is going far more differently than books 1 and 2.
3 is proving to be trickier to write as it draws together a lot of hanging threads. I find myself writing key scenes from disparate points in the book rather than a front-to-back process. Interesting.
Worked it out: I'd posted the chapter, but not the story. It's sorted now.
