New review! My thoughts about Sharks by Simone Buchholz @ohneklippo.bsky.social (pub'd @orendabooks.bsky.social thx @annerandomthings) - "Too many people will not face the justice system for various crimes. However, we are certain that things are not going to go well for them..."

Interview: Emma Christie The Five By Five Interview with Emma Christie I'm not sure when I first met Emma Christie, though it feels now like I've known her for ages! She left Portobello before I ever moved there, but we bump into each other a few times a year at festivals all over the place - if you get the chance to see her on a panel, do, she's funny and thoughtful and always engaging.

New interview! Emma Christie (pub'd @mountainleopard.bsky.social @headlinebooks.bsky.social) answers my questions about her journey to publication, her fave crime fiction characters and more! "I know now that the bad times always pass, and the plot holes always get filled"

If you haven't read The Wasp Factory and are an ebook reader, grab this deal! It's a terrific, dark, sneaky book that's definitely crime-adjacent imho. An absolute classic of modern Scottish literature.

Nice and easy to remember the floor plan! The cafe opened after I moved but I've been a few times with a friend, it's nice. I lived on Milton st, at the edge of the park 😁

I did but it's unnerving reading about places you've lived - I've been to Callie's local cafe a few times, I used to live five minutes away!

It's a great read; I spotted some clues but didn't figure out the full picture, it was a powerful reveal.
