What suprised me (but not really) is that this whole WH crew agreed to the interviews, given the historically left lean of the magazine. AGAIN, not the best decisions coming out of this administration.

Questions:
1. Do the protest numbers include US citizens overseas who protested along with other countries?
2. How many arrests were made per "each side?"

I am attending a protest march on Saturday. The theme is backing those who have lost their jobs or have been negatively impacted by DOGE cuts. I'm thinking my sign will be "We're All Mad Here" from Alice in Wonderland, but the context is different.

This, and a few other experiences with Christians, is why I am no longer a Christian.

She immediately went from bringing up my refusal to discuss Trump with "you told me long ago you are a Christian." This really got to me because this, to me, says she equates voting for Trump as the Christian thing to do. And this baffles me to no end.

We silently agreed toilet it pass. A month later, I got a letter from her stating she is "letting me go." I am not sure what this means to her as she and I still talk on the phone. I guess she means she is letting her perception of me go? Anyway she brought up the "debate."

When I visited my mom this passed Thanksgiving, she brought up Trump and asked my opinion. I am the only non-Repub in my immediate family and, knowing her penchant for wanting to argue, I said I won't debate. She got pissed. I walked a way. The Rest of the visit was ok.

When I hear or see the name of the El Salvadoroian president Bukele... my mind calls him President Bukkake.

This name seems fitting. He's as bad as Trump.

Current book: The "Round House." Louise Erdrich 11 chapters.

When I start reading a book, I always have to check the Table of Contents for how many chapters it had. If there is no ToC, I flip to the back & flip backwards like a Manga comic & find the 1st page of the last chapter. Hopefully, the chapters are numbered.

I'm confused.

GOP Congress is not doing anything to keep Mump from dismantling the govt, yet they are complaining that if the Dems don't vote for the CR bill to keep government running through Sept, the govt will shut down & it will be the Dems fault.

Mine is going smoothly. I don't even miss the places. I'm still broke. $780 for a garage door repair, but I had the funds due to not spontaneously shopping for stupid stuff.

It is historical fiction based on a legend of a female pope circa 800s.

There isn't evidence of her existence except for a chair (located in The Vatican) that other popes had to sit on to prove his gender.

A good story & well written. Not for kids.

I've been vocal (elsewhere) about boycotting Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc. The thing is, LinkedIn, PayPal, and some others are also all connected. Most I don't use anyway but PP & LI, I do use some.

I've just canceled PP. LI is next. That will be hard because of work stuff but I'll figure it out.
