On the Vanity Fair interviews and photos:
What suprised me (but not really) is that this whole WH crew agreed to the interviews, given the historically left lean of the magazine. AGAIN, not the best decisions coming out of this administration.

Overnight - signs for Allegator Auschwitz/Alcatraz went up in Florida and Trump wants MMA on the WH lawn.

Questions:
1. Do the protest numbers include US citizens overseas who protested along with other countries?
2. How many arrests were made per "each side?"
3. What do we do next to get the orange fungus out of office?
๐งต 2/ Quatar is involved... with the 747 offer... this thought has strengthened in my brain. I dont wish it to happen. But the thought that it will happen is there. Does this makes sense?

I see many posts about wanting to see "his" permanent removal in some form. I'm not a fan of those thoughts. However, I have a theory that it will be one of his business partners that takes him out. Now that

I am attending a protest march on Saturday. The theme is backing those who have lost their jobs or have been negatively impacted by DOGE cuts. I'm thinking my sign will be "We're All Mad Here" from Alice in Wonderland, but the context is different.
Thoughts?
This, and a few other experiences with Christians, is why I am no longer a Christian.

I am not sure what this means to her as she and I still talk on the phone. I guess she means she is letting her perception of me go? Anyway she brought up the "debate."

I am the only non-Repub in my immediate family and, knowing her penchant for wanting to argue, I said I won't debate. She got pissed. I walked a way. The Rest of the visit was ok.

When I hear or see the name of the El Salvadoroian president Bukele... my mind calls him President Bukkake.
This name seems fitting. He's as bad as Trump.
What is bukkake?
Look it up - but not on a work issued computer/device. NSFW.
Warning - it's gross.
He has to plan his own party because no one else wants to.

Because we're facing the end of the world as we know it... I've built a ramshackle raised garden box for potential veggies ("potential" because I'll probably starve due to non-green thumbs)
Made of found wood and wooden drawers from an old dresser.
Honest question: What happens after the marches today?
Like, what's next on the list to revolution?
I wonder if Musk is going to cancel those 2 large checks because of the loss in WI.
I wouldn't be surprised.
I saw one today in Chamblee, GA (metro Atlanta area).

I'm confused.
GOP Congress is not doing anything to keep Mump from dismantling the govt, yet they are complaining that if the Dems don't vote for the CR bill to keep government running through Sept, the govt will shut down & it will be the Dems fault.
??? What am I missing here?
We need more of this anger.

Mine is going smoothly. I don't even miss the places. I'm still broke. $780 for a garage door repair, but I had the funds due to not spontaneously shopping for stupid stuff.
Reading: Pope Joan
by Donna Woolfolk Cross
It is historical fiction based on a legend of a female pope circa 800s.
There isn't evidence of her existence except for a chair (located in The Vatican) that other popes had to sit on to prove his gender.
A good story & well written. Not for kids.
I've been vocal (elsewhere) about boycotting Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc. The thing is, LinkedIn, PayPal, and some others are also all connected. Most I don't use anyway but PP & LI, I do use some.
I've just canceled PP. LI is next. That will be hard because of work stuff but I'll figure it out.
Reminds me of what happened to Meatloaf in Formula 51.
It wasn't pretty.
I'm reading Leilani Barnett's "Pray for Us Molly Irvins, Patroness of Progressive Women: Why a Trump Vote Feels Unforgivable"
I am reading it because I feel I need a butt-kick to activism as I admittently have become somewhat numb with current events.
This book is that butt-kick.
