A memory: I was attending a conference in Kamloops, in the mid/late 1980s.The Marchands had agreed to take a few billets, including me. I didn't realize who I was staying with. He introduced himself as 'Len'...THEN I realized whose house I was in! Donna & Len were wonderful hosts;Len a great leader.

Pass on more pipelines. We have better, more cost-effective ways to increase national self-sufficiency and quality of life. A true nation-building project would be to create a renewable-powered integrated electricity grid throughout the country.

re: the military protection, perhaps we should remind this President that USA has benefitted from the security and stability of having an ally on its border, so USA in effect could use its military attention elsewhere in the world.
