Thanks everyone for the Kofi tips this month, you guys are always so amazing to me!

A couple years later, doing more Blender practice and decided to take a go at modeling him. It feels a lot lot better already, did it in about a fourth the time, but still to many triangles than I would like. However...our boy feels about 80 percent there if I can nail the colors down a bit better!

More boarding/sketches for the webcomic type idea that will hopefully fund the game dev idea....

No matter how long that original story is taking, or how slowly that OC is coming together, just let it cook. I got things finally falling into place 6 years later that would have been drastically different and far less interesting if I had pushed it out in a hurry back then.
