Douglas McCarthy of Nitzer Ebb died earlier today. McCarthy was one of my favorite singers and had one of the best voices I've ever heard.

I was lucky enough to see Ebb in 2010. It was a fantastic amalgamation of why I fell in love with industrial dance music.

Finally got around to finishing Supercade, and here is the next book on the pile. Originally published in 2001, this edition is a recent version from 2021 that clocks in at around 600 pages. Apparently there's also a volume 2 to cover modern gaming. So much to explore.

I've actually been playing and exploring the Atari 2600 and 7800 libraries over the last couple of years. If the 7800 had proper third party support they could have made some impressive games. Nintendo locked that down though. Atari never stood a chance against the NES.
