I befriended a woman I met living under the 405 underpass . I was working at a coffee roaster so I’d bring her coffee and sandwiches. Her husband had died and she was in her late sixties. She deserves a home and care.

I’m a Norwegian descendant… grandpa Sverre got on a boat at 17 years old all by himself. His mother had died and he did not like his new stepmother nor being on a boat in the fjord he was from. He immigrated, mad it to Illinois, farmed and the became a sand miner for the glass industry.

I was a twenty something college student and some cnn staff was in my hometown reporting on religious paintings in our public parks . At a local bar one of the cnn support staff asked me to smoke crack with him. Uhhh nope. Never paid attention to cnn after that.

Nothing says, "Hey international companies, bring your manufacturing to the US" like arresting 475 workers at a Hyundai (70% of whom are South Korean).
