The music was discordant to the scene, the drummer fumbled his timings, guitars missed their notes. It was their worst gig ever.

Apparently they had been incorrectly sent the same film section as the headline act.

I've only ever seen the 1953 version. This one has been on my list for ages.

Years ago I went to a multi-band multi- media gig. My mates band had written music for a segment of Two Lane Blacktop, but when their performance started Wages of Fear Started playing.

They were completely throw off.

the corgi duo is still on their deck. this time, the little corgi pup in the front is looking more at the photographer, but her big brother in the background is now looking over his shoulder at whatever it was that had previously caught her eye. he has a matching expression, with his right eye squinting and his left eye examining the offending target judgmentally.
