Conservatives claim to be fighting antisemitism. Don’t believe them. Conservative Christians are pushing themselves to the front of the fight against antisemitism and claiming, in essence, to be better Jews than the Jews themselves.

I have heard from multiple sources today that lawyers who provide Know Your Rights presentations in ICE detention centers have been kicked out completely.

These presentations are sometimes the only way people in detention find out details about the process they’re going through.

Ha! I made the comment on the CLC discord that the main impetus to ban TikTok is that it was the #1 hub of pro-Palestinian sentiment in the U.S., and that if it came back at all, it'd be under the auspice of massively cracking down on that free speech. I was gaslit like crazy for that.

During Obama's admin, I became politically aware of just how awful we treated immigrants to our country in concentration camps, and how it became worse under Trump.

So, why do I fight so hard against fascists that I burn bridges, alienate people via abrasiveness and disassociation, and am loathed by the conservative wing of the LP? Because I care about the people that they'd cast aside.

In the early 2010's, my best friend came out as trans.

The only exception I can think of is my wife being non-white, but she's Asian, a group not targeted by bigots AS intensely, and there's a ton of other civil rights to attack before the Right gets to miscegenation. I feel pretty confident I'd be ok.
