All kittens go to heaven.

That made me deeply sad; it reminded me of my cat who passed away last year. Nobeko is fine. It's just that I can't stop thinking that kittens should be forever, or at least last a little longer.

I barely realized that Azuki San, the cat of mangaka Nobeko and on whom all her manga, illustration and merchandise work is based, passed away last September.

I dream of the day I own a truly professional electric violin; it's an old vision I had as a child. Maybe someday, but I'm certainly not rich, although I don't live on the street either.

What he needs is affection, understanding, to be heard and taken into account. But above all, he needs to be told things more directly and meaningfully, even if readers see him as "unstable."

His story resonates with me because I've been through similar situations from his perspective. I know what it's like to be abandoned without explanation, and I can even understand his behavior in the bad endings. Sometimes things just happen that way.
