4 - Carrion

There's alot of satisfaction in shredding through the facility- Includes many fun abilities and an interesting sense of resource management.
The flashback sequences can get tedious, especially due to how little this game cares about story, but the real meat of this game is very fun.

3 - We Know The Devil

A short but investing visual novel. Though I liked some characters more than others, that felt intentional- I think everyone playing it will latch onto a different character and pairing.
It's very thick with subtext, and there's a lot you have to think on. But well worth it.

2 - Poppy Playtime Chapter 5

Whilst the first half drags with puzzles, its second half is so cool that I can't fault it too hard. It has some great new sequences, mechanics and characters (especially Lily)
Whilst not perfect, this game still contains probably the best parts of any Poppy chapter.

1 - Berry Bury Berry

Though its pretty simple, I managed to get quite alot of hours out of this. A genuinely fun incremental lore with a very mysterious vibe and cute artstyle
It's lore is about as expectable as you could get from one of these games, but I enjoyed finding all the secrets anyway.

Poppy playtime Prototype and the Mimic wouldn’t get along..

It's funny because the game that started the "big underground facility" trend in mascot horror was arguably Bendy, which later explained that it was the facility was an entire POCKET DIMENSION.

It's implied that The Prototype could repair itself with the poppy gel, so it can survive alot of damage.
But I think in the end, Mimic could disassemble it well enough so that it can't piece itself back together. Especially as tools like Proto's poppy gas would have no effect on Mimic.

I would give it to The Mimic, though its close.
Whilst Prototype has size and allies, Mimic seems to be stronger given it can survive being dropped in lava, and lift things with ease.
It can also grow bigger than even The Prototype as we see with Big Top, so I think it'd eventually get the edge.

I think one thing that SOTM deserves credit for is its pretty consistent roaming sections- The Mimic is almost always present and a threat.

It's something that alot of other modern mascot horrors tend to forget in favour of chase scenes, but SOTM mixes regular roaming AI and chases very well imo.

i think archer characters are inherently kinda cool somehow, sky is very far from an exception, i had to draw her SOMEDAY yk
