Minnesota’s home for political problem-solvers, not party-liners. Forward Independence is about fresh ideas, real solutions, and leaving the tired old left-vs-right fight behind. Not Left. Not Right. Forward!

25.11.2025 18:31 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Jay Reeves for State Auditor.
This role is important as Minnesota has seen repeated instances of waste, mismanagement, and fraud. Jay has real solutions, and his union background, military service, and proven ability to work with complex data make him the ideal person to protect taxpayers.
This is a great introduction to Mike Newcome and his campaign for Governor of Minnesota.

Party Co-Chair Phil Fuehrer nailed it. Public service is about working together to get things done.
17.11.2025 21:15 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Their courage, sacrifice, and commitment to protecting our freedoms represent the best of what this country stands for.
As we reflect on their service, let’s recommit ourselves to building a nation worthy of that sacrifice.
Thank you to all who served and to the families who stood beside them.
Politicians spend more time chasing donations than solving problems. And when you think money is the most important thing, you're more likely to compromise your morals - because big donors usually expect to have a say in how you vote.

When a Forward Party State Senator in Utah announced his resignation, the party had the right to choose his replacement.
But instead of letting a few delegates decide, they're giving every voter in the district a voice through a secure digital vote, no matter their party.
Our politics are paralyzed by corruption and hyper-partisanship, and we continue to prioritize the ultra-rich over working-class Americans. Those are all major issues that need to be addressed.
But while we do that, we can’t ignore this.
We’ve reached a point where too many debates in politics are about winning, not solving problems.
22.10.2025 20:23 — 👍 4 🔁 1 💬 0 📌 0Real change isn’t coming for everyday Americans until we stop sending lobbyist-owned politicians to Washington.
Our party is different, our candidates answer to the people, not big donors or party bosses.
Workers get layoffs. Executives get leather seats on the jet.
The game is rigged because politicians trade laws for campaign checks.

"This is a mess... It's time to start putting a check next to some of those underfunded third party candidates."
07.10.2025 18:42 — 👍 2 🔁 1 💬 0 📌 0If this government shutdown is just going to be a partisan PR battle between Democrats and Republicans with no regard for the people being hurt by it — then Democrats should just say they’ll vote to reopen the government in exchange for the full Epstein files being released.
07.10.2025 14:46 — 👍 2 🔁 1 💬 0 📌 0The Trump administration has no credibility when they say American cities are “war zones” because they lie about everything.
When they claim Portland is “burning” because the president is watching old 2020 videos, it’s not about safety - it’s about grabbing unchecked power.
Just like with the Minnesota House debacle at the beginning of the year, if just a few Forward Party members held seats in the U.S. Senate, they could have huge influence to break gridlock and force real compromise in these government shutdown fights.
30.09.2025 15:13 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0The First Amendment guarantees free speech. Our founders risked everything for our freedoms and we must back candidates who defend them, and reject those who don’t.

Today we honor the workers who power our communities, the teachers, tradespeople, nurses, service workers, small business owners, and so many more. Your hard work keeps Minnesota moving forward.
Yesterday’s tragedy is horrifying. We need to come together across party lines to confront the crisis of school shootings and put the safety of our kids above politics.
There are ideas across the political spectrum. Let’s bring all of them forward, debate them honestly, and take action.
Forward Independence Co-Chair Bill Halter will be on WCCO radio at 2:35 p.m. to talk politics and what’s next for the party.

We've had the privilege of getting to know @xpleeformnhouse.bsky.social and believe he's the right leader for this moment. Right now the community needs a respected voice of integrity.
Forward Independence is working to build political influence but we aren’t cocncerned with political power.
If there is a candidate from a different party who has courage, good ideas, and is willing to work with anyone to get things done - we will support them.
Spending $1 billion to retrofit a Qatari bribe plane.
Firing the head of labor stats because you don’t like the numbers.
Still lying about the 2020 election.
Building a gold ballroom on the side of the White House.
Ghislaine Maxwell moved to a cushier prison.
This is nonsense.
We need more political courage, and Richard is right to point out the last person to show it.
Dean Phillips said what others were afraid to: Joe Biden wasn’t up to running again and if no one steps up to primary him, Trump will win. Phillips gave up his seat in Congress to offer an alternative.
There will always be elected officials who are Republicans and Democrats - and in some cases that’s a good thing. But when we start electing leaders who aren’t tied to either party, it will force everyone to work together and give a voice to Americans who currently don’t feel represented.

Big news: We’ve officially merged with the Independence-Alliance Party to build a stronger, united movement for Minnesota voters. Together, we’re creating a real third option in elections across the state.
Not Left. Not Right. Forward!
The Forward Party of Minnesota is home to former Republicans, Libertarians, Democrats, and a whole lot of Independents.
What unites us isn’t party labels. It’s a shared belief that government should work for the people with honesty, integrity, and cooperation.
