THREE U.S. FATALITIES REPORTED
www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026...
The attack and killing of Iran’s supreme leader is a grave violation of Iran’s sovereignty and security. It tramples on the purposes and principles of the UN Charter and basic norms in international relations. China firmly opposes and strongly condemns it. We urge for an immediate stop to the military operations, no further escalation of the tense situation and joint effort to maintain peace and stability in the Middle East and the world at large.

Did you know that the bees that need saving are NOT honeybees?
Honeybees are the dairy cows of bees. People brought them over from Europe to make us honey.
The problem with honeybees, esp in resource-limited ecosystems (like hey! cities!) is that they compete with our native bees for food.

It’s also always a joy to listen to and learn from Perry Ground of the Onondaga Nation. He shared nature art and stories from the Haudenosaunee, like this carving by Stan Hill. #art #Indigenous

Have we ever bothered to notice there aren't any foreign military bases here in the United States but we've got them all over the world. Is this why we can recruit people to join the military by telling them they'll see the world if they do...

Heard Trump was talking about Massachusetts during the State of the Union.
Let me be clear: If he tries to hold our federal funding hostage based on a fabricated "fraud" crisis, we'll take him to court as we’ve done nearly 50 times already.
Congress appropriates funding, not the President.

~45 minutes outside Minneapolis this afternoon, a small but spirited crowd is gathered to protest outside the gates of Sherburne County Jail.
According to organizers: the jail has held an average of 131 ICE detainees daily for nearly 20 years. As of 2023, the jail makes $110 per detainee per day.
