It would’ve been nice if Greene had realized this before she amplified and endorsed calls for executing Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama.
Fact is, Epstein is the *only* issue impervious to Trump/GOP messaging tactics.
That's why Trump & MAGA keep freaking out—they literally don't know what to do when lying, misdirection, and demagoguery don't work. So they flail around, making it worse.
Dropping it would be political malpractice.
There was a time I truly believed the GOP would be coming to like a Sat morning after a bender….

Trump and Hegseth's "Department of War" rebranding is more than just a name. It signals their vision of a force that disdains legality, as if whoever commits the most war crimes wins.
But as new research by @doncasler.bsky.social and @robertralston.bsky.social shows, the change is very unpopular,
Americans oppose rebranding the Department of Defense as "Department of War" 54-22, with 36% strongly opposed.
And that's not in ignorance. Asked if this change narrows the Pentagon's focus, a plurality says yes. But asked if that'll make Americans safer, a majority says no.
The public gets it.

Even Republicans aren't into the "Department of War" rebranding. Only 42% approve, which is low in such a polarized environment.
Plus Democrats and Independents are solidly opposed.
Americans want a professional, not unhinged military.

I am now being contacted by private security firms with warnings for my safety as a hot bed of threats against me are being fueled and egged on by the most powerful man in the world. The man I supported and helped get elected. Aggressive rhetoric attacking me has historically led to death threats and multiple convictions of men who were radicalized by the same type rhetoric being directed at me right now. This time by the President of the United States. As a woman I take threats from men seriously. I now have a small understanding of the fear and pressure the women, who are victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his cabal, must feel. As a Republican, who overwhelmingly votes for President Trump's bills and agenda, his aggression against me which also fuels the venomous nature of his radical internet trolls (many of whom are paid, this is completely shocking to everyone. My phone is blowing up with constant amazing support. I'm so thankful! The Political Industrial Complex and the toxic violent nature of American politics must end. Our country is worth saving and it can only be done if we pull together and save ourselves.
I don’t want anyone to receive threats, but for many years Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has enjoyed this sort of energy from President Trump when it’s been directed at her political enemies and now objects to it when she’s on the receiving end.
