I didn't know about this Ideas submission when I got the idea to do something similar recently. My design has a fixed hexagonal frame on a baseplate and the resource tiles are disks that pop out.

Inspired by my love for Settlers of Catan, I got it into my head to try to design a hexagonal game board entirely out of #Lego bricks

It was quite a challenge, as hexagons don't fit naturally on a rectangular grid!

But I eventually wrangled it into submission 😀
