#angular

So when it comes to ExpressionChangedAfterItHasBeenCheckedError and signals what's the story, do we no longer need to worry about it?

Did you know Jira is statistically the most fit software on the market? It's true because it is always... preparing for the next sprint.

CSS is too powerful now

CSS is starting to get up to some crazy stuff... (and I recoded this before @rebane2001.bsky.social posted their CSS x86! lyra.horse/x86css/)

In this one, I look at @css-only.dev's CSS Graph Theory - codepen.io/t_afif/pen/Y...

#angular

If you work with multiple angular projects and sometimes struggling with running the different versions of the cli, rather use npm to start the project i.e.

npm run ng serve, it will use the local version rather than your global one.

Angular 2025 Strategy For the past two and a half years, we’ve been laser focused on improving developer experience and performance for all Angular developers…

Hmmm, I only see that we had info on 2025, so guess we would be waiting for a report, not to take one now:

it really is! angular is comfortably on the TOP 100 repos on GitHub now. only 86 repos have more than 100K stars.

Angular remains in phenomenal handsβ€” the team is packed full of long-tenured experts who are hard-at-work as ever. I'm especially excited about the work happening around Signal Forms, Angular Aria, and golang TS support. I know the team will continue doing great work for years to come.

Why do I have to pretend that I'm going to print something in order to save it as a PDF. Why do I have to engage in a little ruse.

No problem as mentioned, for me it's more a convenience than something critical, just sometimes I want to put a comment quickly, but then surprise! everything breaks

21.02.2026 13:27 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Hey Lars, I sometimes add quick temporary notes in my JS, and the closer they are to the code, the better. In HTML, quick temporary notes break things. I need a way to tuck them right next to properties or tags instead of commenting outside.

21.02.2026 13:00 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Thanks I didn know that issue existed.

To be honest I've fallen into the same trap multiple times.

Since all these new template changes are being made it'd be nice if this snuck in.

Which is why it feels good when it solves the things we don't want to do, it's like it's taking care of the annoying puzzles.

21.02.2026 06:20 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Interesting image...instead of adding the puzzle pieces yourself, you're playing slot machine and every pull generates a fixed puzzle with a percentage chance that some of the pieces might be missing or in the wrong place.

If one loves solving puzzles, playing such a game would probably get boring

I find my mental model works well with Angular, first party support for several libraries, a lot of good practices are encouraged with the way Angular is structured, the community is great and the Angular team itself has become an inspiring team.
