As well as physical processes that are learned as more research is done. That has been especially obvious for the cryosphere for a least a couple of decades.

(My awareness of the troubling "unknown unknowns" there goes back to 2005, as more & more became known — and still happening.

It’s very important to strengthening the efforts to reduce inequality, increase energy efficiency and ensure that no one is left behind in the energy transition. A better view is urgently needed on the increasing inequalities as the energy poor nowadays carry a rising proportional stress burden.

Murphy's Law is never on our side, in a complex system like the climate.
