I was simply incredibly determined to gather people who like 🐿️🐺 and encourage more fanworks to be made for them, as I've always wanted, so I jumped into this thing hoping I'd figure it out along the way. With a little assistance and experience, I can now say I am.

and will be open to feedback at the fest's conclusion, so I'm already considering ways to make things better for both myself and participants in the future. Especially as I know I haven't been the best at simul-posting on this account, which I'm committed to rectifying now lol

For clarification, the fest is fully open for artist participation! Mod 🦐 may have just forgotten to edit things after deciding that... it's been a busy month... but our carrd and Ao3 collection will always be clearest if you're confused about the guidelines.

SIGNUPS/CLAIMING Claiming runs on a first come first serve basis. To claim a prompt you must also fill out the sign-up form. We will contact you to notify you of a successful claim and verify fest participation. Prompting and sign-ups will remain open until the second check-in. One claimant per prompt.

⏸️ Claiming

PROMPTING Anyone can submit as many prompts as they'd like. Self-prompting is allowed. Participants get one prompt. If you've finished your work and would like to pick up a second one, we're open to it, but contact us first. Prompts can be as vague or as specific as you want, but give our writers some room for interpretation. A want-do not want list is encouraged.

⏸️ Prompting

GUIDELINES We are strictly 18+. This is an inclusive, judgement free zone. Any bigotry or rudeness towards mods or participants will not be tolerated. We have no hard limits on content, though mods reserve the right to veto anything. That said, everything must be tagged properly. Absolutely no AI under any circumstances. Poly ships are welcome as long as Minjoong is given adequate focus. Minimum word count is 500. Write as much or as little as you please. Works should be new and original, but they may be chaptered.

Check-ins (March 24, May 26) are simply to see how you're doing, take any questions, and confirm you're still with us. No writing has to be submitted. Check-ins must be responded to within a week for fest participation to be retained. Your work must be completed (or have at least one chapter) and submitted to the Ao3 collection by 23:59 EST on July 10 to be included in posting. Works will remain anonymous until reveals, so try to stay hush-hush. If you need an extension, we will happily grant you one provided you contact us first. Communication will take place primarily via email, as well as Twitter/Bluesky DMs. Do not hesitate to reach out if there's anything you need.
