I don't know what this style is called but it feels so CLEAN

This isn't a dig but I'm honestly surprised they've kept this game running for so long. Maple story 2 and others weren't so fortunate.

It still amazes me that the original developers for this game went with the Source engine.

Here's hoping the sequel is good (or at least better than the beta)

If the character creator is good, I'll also hide the helmet and shoulders at minimum like how some comments said under the article. I didn't spend all that time making them look good just to hide their form and face.

I think I know more people playing the original for sure as well. I wouldn't mind all the entries if at least half of them were decent.

So the combat feels pretty good, which is a big positive, but I can't shake how mobile this game feels in a bad way with the 'claim 50 things in 50 menus' or the 'this interface is definitely made for a tablet and not scaled for pc' or all the types of monetization. I'll play it on launch, but dang.

The whales gotta be keeping Gravity afloat because who is playing these terrible games? Brother, let that IP rest 😭

Yeah there's no NDA so screenshots and videos are okay. I'd probably post some here, but I think bsky would decimate the quality.

The performance is a slight bit weaker than I expected it to be for a game that looks how it does as well and that leans on DLSS/FSR.

I'm holding out for the combat, but we'll see how that feels after I'm off work.

So far my impressions with Blue Protocol: Star Resonance are middling. My initial feel of the game is that the UI feels unfinished, like it wasn't already released in another territory.
