I mean we COULD, if 25 million people decide to up and come here all at once. I am pro immigration, but I feel that there’s a healthy way to do open borders and an unhealthy way. Maybe only allow 1-2 million new residents a month, but the application process is just waiting in a line.

In places like Iceland, they are very protective of jobs. They don’t want influxes of people coming in, because there’s simply not enough economy to handle it. Tying a remote job requirement could get around it, but then that removes the opportunities of open borders.

That is so frustrating! 😖
