A timeline for Pokemon from gen 1 to gen 7.
I put together a Pokemon timeline for gens 1 through 7 based on in-game info, as well as some of the leaked documents from that Game Freak leak. Gonna go over it a bit here. The leaked documents says Sun & Moon are about 8-9 years after gen 1, with Red now being 20 years old. Red is 11 in gen 1...

14.03.2025 05:21 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I made XY Rebirth and ORAS Repolished because I wanted a version of those games where Gym Leaders actually had teams of more than 3 with full movesets.
Basically "what if they made B2W2's Challenge Mode for X/Y and OR/AS?".
i.e., harder than the base game, but the difficulty spike is *gradual*.
The Totem Lurantis fight. Lurantis has 1 free Solar Blade due to its Power Herb. Once it calls any of its allies, and Sunny Day is set, it can't be statused, gets a charge-free Solar Blade, and can heal 1/2 of its total HP with Synthesis. Kecleon can set Sunny Day and can debuff your Def Stat with Screech to allow itself and Lurantis to deal more damage, as well as potentially confuse you. Comfey can not only set up sun, but can increase Lurantis's Def with Flower Shield and heal it with Flower Healing. Honestly, your best bet is hitting Lurantis asap with a Fire Z-Move, which will be stronger in Sun if you're willing to wait a turn or two.

Playing through US/UM again, wondering if it's worth doing a mod like I did for XY & ORAS, and the difference in difficulty between the Totems and the Kahunas is so funny.
Like, Lurantis is considered one of the toughest fights in mainline #Pokemon, and then Hapu only has 2 moves on her Flygon...
