I really wanted to like it. It's why I bought three versions. 😁

It just didn't hang together for me. I spent more time trying to understand the rules than apply any sort of tactical play. And I'm not that competent a tactical player.
Not good or bad, just not for me. And exactly as you say, each to their own.

I bought three versions of PBI.
I played one game of it.
I never looked at it again.
Just not my sort of game.

I'm not in a position to let you know either way at the moment. As and when I find out I'll post here.
