It's true, I do love doing research. :)

I did HOURS of research for a silly shipwreck-themed romance novella. This included finding slang terms for the time period, trade routes, going over miles of Caribbean depth mapping, island town histories, and ship hull layouts from that time period. All to sell maybe two books. XD

This happened with my other account because I was calling out DHS on their tyrannical harassment of Americans and Immigrants alike. Evidently, them or one of their fan boys cried enough about it to Bluesky that my account got flagged "Rude."

Rude Rude or impolite, including crude language and disrespectful comments, without constructive purpose. Highlighted Off, darkened Warn, and darkened Hide buttons.

If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.

May I recommend Bound to Desire, a spicy story about a warlock hired on by a trio of adventurers and shinanigans and feelings ensure. It has a sequel coming out this month and the third and final book in the spring.
