Our office is partnering with the YMCA of Centre County on a Thanksgiving food drive for local families in need. We have 350+ families registered so far, but more are coming in every day, and we are already over capacity based on current donations.

🍂 🍁 October was a busy month here in District 82! My team and I hosted three big events: People, PAWS, and PSU, our first Accessibility Resource Fair, and a Tele-town Hall. We also took part in dozens of other events across the district. Here’s a sample of what we’ve been up to.

With prices still high and families struggling to make ends meet, this budget makes life more affordable while preserving vital services and keeping our communities strong.
I’m proud to support a budget that delivers for Centre County and for every Pennsylvanian.

This plan:
🏫 Increases education funding to help every kid in every classroom.
👨‍👩‍👧 Puts more money back in the pockets of hard working Pennsylvanians.
👵 Strengthens support for seniors, people with disabilities, and families in need.
💼 Creates jobs and builds our economy.

Today, I voted for a responsible, balanced budget with no tax increases that helps every Pennsylvanian. It’s long overdue, but we held firm and won the fight to make historic investments in our schools, prevent tax increases, cut costs, and support working people and create jobs here in District 82.

My team had a great time at the Penn State Veterans Tailgate this weekend, connecting with local veterans and sharing information about state and community resources.

To all who have served — thank you for your courage, sacrifice, and dedication. We’re honored to support you on Veterans Day daily.

On #VeteransDay, we honor the brave men and women who have selflessly served our nation.

Today, join me in recognizing and thanking our veterans for their courage, commitment, and sacrifice in defending our freedom and democracy. May we never take for granted the cost of liberty.

Although I love being in Harrisburg, it’s the day-to-day efforts of the district office team that truly drives our mission—to serve the people and communities of the 82nd District. If you are one of the 8,000 Centre County residents currently on SNAP or experiencing food insecurity, please know there is help available. My office has pulled together this list of local food resources to help folks navigate this difficult moment.
