To me it's a deep, dry cocoa with smooth spices and a little booziness. Mildly to moderately sweet and luxurious. It's one of the two extraits that come in black bottles, and it's totally different from the others I've sampled (which didn't work for me either).

I've set them aside to revisit when the weather and my skin are warmer. I look forward to giving Caji a proper sniff! I suspect that vial is the reason the package smelled so good the moment I opened it.

I couldn't wrap my brain around this or the other samples. I don't remember the last time a fragrance made me short circuit (in a good way).

The Sun Card, though at this point I've forgotten everything about it. Still need to try Carnival of Souls; my set was very outdated and didn't include it.

I remember overall they felt like modernized interpretations of 'vintage' DNA, which was lovely to experience.

I feel like everyone was talking about Olympic Orchids several years ago, then *poof* nothing. Glad they're still around! Speaking of cozy chocolate scents, have you tried Cocoa Kimiya by Atelier des Ors?

Queen Nzinga was my favorite in the discovery set I sniffed. It's one of those perfumes that doesn't feel like 'me,' but I'd very much enjoy smelling on someone else.

I suspected what you were referring to before I checked the site to confirm. To be fair, I have sampled it and thought it smelled delightful and nostalgic—but to your point, I am emotionally unwell.

The number one fragrance surprised me though. I thought/hoped everyone had moved on from that one.

I'm drooling over the crunch of that flaky crust, but also over that outdoor kitchen setup.

I've never encountered this, but ew. If you're going to interview yourself, at least make it funny and film yourself performing both roles.

I've watched that video and sampled that fragrance! It reminded me of an old movie theater I frequented in my youth, complete with the musty fabric seats, but not quite roller rink. Needs more popcorn and the distinctive aroma of rental skates.

Someone needs to capture this in a fragrance, particularly in room spray or candle form—wooden rink, old leather skates, stale popcorn, and carpet laden with decades of spills from kid's birthday parties.

I immediately had to check out their website, and wow! Those prices are incredible considering how much care they put into everything.

Have you tried any others? I'd blind buy that oolong oud in a heartbeat if I had access to it.

My favorite thing about Mac PCs in general (back when I used them) is how they didn't want to inconvenience users with the hassle of upgrading individual parts; all I had to do was throw the whole thing out and buy a new one.

Bryson is so impressive, especially for such a young perfumer! I've only tried Silver Haze. Adore the fragrance; unsure if I can tolerate its strength enough to actually wear it.
