He’s not Henry Cavill, but Liam Hemsworth does fine as Geralt in the new season of the Witcher. I DID forget about the part of the story where Ciri runs with the “cool kids.” A part I didn’t really like. I don’t like the cool kid teen thieves that got it all figured out trope.

Writers, how do you push through the thoughts of “this is stupid” or “no one will like this?” Is it just keeping your nose to the grindstone?

Anime update: Watched Spy Family with my son and we like it a lot! Super fun

I tried, y’all, but Borderlands 4 is a wet bucket of butts. They just made a destiny clone with a Borderlands skin, and it doesn’t do anything new. The writing is terrible and your character only speaks in corny dad jokes and WON’T. SHUT. UP.

Anime update: based on my son’s recommendation, started Gachiakuta. It’s ok. I think all my son watches are shonen, so they get kind of repetitive.

The astronomical contracts are unsustainable and price players out of most team’s ability, so it creates a real lopsided league.

Sorry if you’re a fan, but the Dodgers in their current form are bad for baseball. A salary cap is LONG overdue.

ICE Abducts Man Suing Off-Duty Police for Abusing Day Laborers “The Department of Homeland Security has become the department of state terror,” said Rep. Delia Ramirez.

Willian Gimenez was abducted by ICE yesterday in Chicago. He had been part of a lawsuit against off-duty police and Home Depot employees for abusing day laborers. Latino Union says he was targeted for advocating for his rights as a worker. @bloomekatz.bsky.social and I report.

I know a lot of people didn’t like 3, but at least it still felt like Borderlands. I don’t know what this is.

Borderlands 4’s dialog and story are, and I can’t stress this enough, super lame. The characters are lame and it just doesn’t grab me. It’s a very competent shooter, but there are so many of those and they do it better than B4.

News outlets like @wsj.com have a critical responsibility to report the truth.

Promoting false information that ties our LGBTQ+ community to the Utah shooting is reckless, irresponsible, and puts trans people especially in danger.

Anyone with a platform must do better. Lives are on the line.
