Cool, when is it being released?

I really wanted this game when I was younger. I got really excited when someone at school had a copy they wanted to swap. I was very disappointed when I got this instead! I can't even remember what I swapped it for now!

Bandcamp for me, i cancelled Amazon Music and I'm using the money I spent on that to buy records direct from bands when I see them live or via Bandcamp especially on Bandcamp Friday so the bands get more money back.

Loved the song Last Song Last Train by Hann on the show tonight. Reminded me of when I was watching Ballboy in Birmingham, was just about 2 leave to catch the last train when they started thier last song, one of my faves so I stopped for the song and had to run to catch it.

I played this on the Spectrum. It was hard to beat if you were NATO and impossible to win if you were Warsaw Pact if you played on the highest level as the computer would launch a nuclear attack to stop you winning.

Looking back i can't belive we read this at school as its a very dark story. It was also made into a film that somehow made it even more disturbing.

Does anyone remember the play Unman, Wittering & Zigo? We read through the script at school in the 80s. It involves a new teacher replacing the previous teacher who died in an accident... or was he murdered? Intimidation by the pupils and suicide.

Just watched The War Game....... that really chilling that I though was more hard hitting than Threads. I think the documentary style and linking it to real life examples of what happened in Hiroshima brings home the horror of Nuclear war.

I've never seen The War Game so I'll definatly watch it. I've only recently seen Threads and I don't think my sanity another re-watch!

3D Deathchase!

How do the novels compare to the tv series? It's one of my favourite shows at the moment.

I found this vision of the future quite disturbing at the time. Thankfully the rest of the book had a more positive and upbeat vision of the future!

This also made me remember the World of the Future books by Usborne. I had the Future Cities book. Just had a look at some scans of the pages and I had forgotten this horrific version of the future, a polluted pesthole, a city of a dying world, and jets trailing a plume of filth.

Reminds me of the spacecraft in the Terran Trade Authority handbooks by Stewart Cowley. These are pictures from the Spacewrecks, Ghostships and Derelicts of Space book.

It was just a couple of hours ago thinking about a tv series I remembered about murders in a seaside village by an unknown creature that was radioactive but couldn't identify it, only just found out it was nightmare man and literally 10mins later you post about it!

Although it features outsiders arriving on a planet, come across a mysterious ship, discover an egg, evil is released and it all kicks off.... sounds a bit like space folk horror!

Really enjoyed last night. We really wanted to stop for the Q&A but had to go as it was so hot! Was thinking that as well as Star Wars, Alien may also have had a hand in the end of folk horror......

Me too! I found the whole story fascinating. It would make a great film / TV show.

There's also the Dodleston messages where a BBC micro recieved messages, transmitted from the past.

Looking forward to this. Will you be covering the first computer games to get a 15 and 18 BBFC certificates for the ZX Spectrum and C64 graphic text adventures by CRL. Jack the Ripper the first to get an 18 was written by St Brides who were a very interesting software house!
