Giving a speech where you compare yourself to two now very unpopular Prime Ministers - Thatcher and Blair - is not good politics.

The only PM I remember Thatcher referring to was 'Winston,' a PM who remained popular until his death in 1965. #newsnight

This is not a good idea.

In Sri Lanka, the socialists have gone from 3.8% of the vote and 3 seats in 2020 to 61.6% of the vote and 159 seats in 2024.

A rejection of the political establishment in Sri Lanka and a mandate for radical political change.

If that happens, the last collapse of Twitter may happen almost overnight.

They voted for it.

I'm really hoping this is like what Twitter was like when it was good.
