I do not like this gen AI
I do not like what it implies
I do not want it in my art
I do not think it makes you smart
I do not want it in my games
I do not like its goals and aims
I do not want it in my books
I do not like the way it looks
I do not like it, I don't care
I do not want it anywhere

Everyone PLEASE keep track of the voter registration deadline in your state!

Check your registration before EVERY ELECTION so you can reregister if necessary.

Find/order ID documents NOW so you have them if you need them.

This is even more important with new 2026 registration requirements.

I want this convo:

Republican: β€œWhy are yall always annoyingly putting everything to votes you will lose? It’s annoying.”

Dem: β€œBecause I want you on the record for the trial, mfer.”

Lots of people making fun of this, but as someone who showers a disabled person, this is a goddamn dream.

This all began with a concerned mutual reaching out to me, stating that they saw a notification that pointed at me using the Meta AI app and asking if my stance on generative AI had changed.
That’s when I learnt that Meta has been quietly using random people’s accounts to promote their app. The catch is… these people never actually downloaded the app. Including myself.

I just wanted to make this post to warn people. If you see a notification like that - know that it’s a lie, I never downloaded any AI app and never will. I’m an artist who values hard work and human effort, and generative AI repulses me to an unimaginable degree.

If you follow me on Instagram and you receive a notification about me joining or downloading Meta AI well, IT'S A FUCKING LIE. Meta is blatantly lying to us in order to make us download that fucking sludge-generator. I would never touch GenAI with a 10 foot pole.

There’s no excuse for your random cis friends and family not to understand this as an obsessive hate campaign by lying bigots. Whatever anyone’s opinion on trans people, even the most ardent lunatic cannot deny the existence of people who transitioned decades ago and have yet to β€˜get over it’.

Bear with me if you can as I attempt to use HPV vaccines to demonstrate why many can’t see the danger of RFK Jr.

TLDR: Disease prevention takes time and discipline. Not discipline of an individual, but the ability to invest in public health when the benefits may not be immediately clear.

Can State Law Remedy Constitutional Violations by Federal Officers? So-called converse 1983 statutes are percolating in statehouses across the country and could fill a critical constitutional gap.

As ICE operations expand in cities across the country, state legislators have turned to so-called converse 1983 statutes which would authorize suits against federal officials if they violate constitutional rights. @harrisonstark.bsky.social explains how these statutes would work in practice.

Check your voter registration. Yes, AGAIN.

We need to check and KEEP checking, especially as we get closer to election days.

Vote by drop box/mail or early voting if at all possible. Don't wait until Election Day.

I'm checking regularly, & I'm a GD poll worker!

Once again, in actual democracies, people do not need to engage in permanent litigation & political mobilization to retain the basic right to vote, because none of the major political parties make restricting suffrage the central pillar of their policy platform. We also don't have to live like this.

Texas' Big Bend braces for border wall in national park, worrying local Republicans and Democrats Locals say the rugged land is enough of a barrier and they're concerned about the impact on the environment and homeowners as the Department of Homeland Security forges ahead.

I want to do my part in raising awareness. Texas's Big Bend is set to receive new border security infrastructure, including >100 mi of border wall cutting through Big Bend National Park. Kristi Noem just waived 28 environmental protection laws and regulations to expedite this construction. 🧡 1/4

Few patients appeal a health insurance denial, but a little-known process that requires insurers and plans to seek an independent opinion can force insurers to pay for what can be lifesaving treatment.

Here’s what experts say you need to know.

How Kansas Republicans weaponized the law to target 300 trans driver's license holders SB 244 was put into effect virtually overnight, causing chaos, panic and fear in the trans community.

New β€” I spoke to eight trans people in Kansas about the new state law that invalidated their driver’s licenses overnight, what’s it’s like to live there right now, plus details of two DMV emails exclusively obtained by The Handbasket that shed light on the law’s chaotic and cruel rollout:

WARNING: Illinois Is About to Elect a MAGA-Aligned Senator But it's not too late -- here's what we need to do to prevent a catastrophic failure and instead elect someone whose record aligns with our values

IL is on the verge of electing a Senator far more aligned with Trump, MAGA power brokers & ICE infrastructure expansion than the values of a deep-blue state.

Here’s what Raja Krishnamoorthi hopes you don’t know about him & how we elect someone better.

When I was in Indiana in the late 1970s, the local phone book - an actual physical book - had a listing for "Fone Company".

It didn't say "See Indiana Bell". It just provided the number.

Unfortunately the reality is that cops have a history of killing people by dropping them off in inhospitable places. In Canada it’s called a β€œstarlight tour” when cops detain an Indigenous person and then drop them off miles from home in the wilderness, sometimes causing them to freeze to death
