Was just at a neighborhood school at dismissal. Hundreds of people with whistles surrounding the school and stationed down every block making sure ICE doesn’t snatch anyone. The same is happening at all the schools around here. I love my neighborhood and I love Chicago.

Friends, some advice if you plan on spending time outside in an animal costume, sharing for no particular reason:
-You will sweat a lot more than you think. Have water/snacks
-You cannot move well (the Left Shark guy is a trained experienced professional dancer). Don’t run or you’ll trip and fall.

Trump has sent the National Guard to Chicago and Portland under the guise of protecting DHS agents from threats that don't exist. With this new guidance, it appears FPS agents (who are able to call on ICE, CBP, etc for backup at any time) have been empowered to do their own "protecting."

EXCLUSIVE — DHS Acting General Counsel sent out a memo Wednesday to all Federal Protective Service staff (the sub-agency that guards federal buildings) letting officers know they could take any action necessary "in the vicinity" federal property to protect themselves.
