Where does it stop, huh? You know, folks wanna talk about how much they wanna protect us Autistic folks - prove it. Because I certainly don’t feel very protected. I feel abused, let down, abandoned, beat up, and like a human that society decided wasn’t worth their time. That’s how I feel. 5/5

I’m having to literally shove things that should be inside, back inside because they keep sliding back outside instead…and I warned them that this was going to happen. I warned them. And I kept begging for help. And all I got was #MedicalGaslighting, #MedicalNeglect, literal #MedicalAbuse … 4/5

Because you know, I had to be bleeding so much that my #POTS would activate in the worst of ways. And now? I’m dealing with something I predicted was going to happen if the doctors kept ignoring me: a literal organ prolapse. 3/5

Because then you’ll end up with someone like me. I’ve been dealing with a very serious medical injury from a doctor who physically assaulted me after ignoring me about me having hEDS…then, almost 9 months later, I finally am given some kind of treatment for that injury…after doctors downplayed it2/5

It’s been a while…all I have to say is: hey #doctors? #MedicalProfessionals? If you have patients with #hEDS or any other variation of #EDS and they tell you that something is wrong? Listen to them. Don’t gaslight them. Don’t belittle them, write them off, ignore them, etc. you know why? 1/5

To be clear, folks don’t get to say things like “Globalize the Intifada” then be all shocked & say, “that’s not what we meant” when Jews all over are getting shot, set on fire or worse. Wtf did you think the Intifadas were? Don’t advocate for something if you don’t know what it is.

Our upstairs neighbor really needs to not have a cat…she clearly doesn’t know how to take care of or keep a cat without constantly screaming and stomping around. Literally all day and night.

I think I now know what it would be like to live inside of a drum. It’s not as fun as one would think.

I know an economist
who says
when you hear people talk
about a “covid like” supply shock
it’s a sign
that a recession is coming.

And
I know an epidemiologist
who says
when you hear people talk
about “covid like” colds and allergies
it’s a reminder
that the pandemic never ended.

But yeah, just wanted to make a quick post somewhere to let people know that I’m not dead. Just really uncomfortable and wishing that I didn’t have to have skin…

So yeah…skin infections are absolutely zero fun. Super painful. Do not recommend.

Hey. I’m still alive. I currently have a skin infection though. So uh… #ExcoriationDisorder really blows. What is that? Well, lots of folks know it as #Dermatillomania or #SkinPicking . It’s a problem that I’ve dealt with for a very long time. It impacts my life a great deal…clearly.

Every once in awhile I remember that not everyone lives with lifelong chronic illness/pain and disability and I feel so confused…. and then very angry.

It’s so unspeakably unfair

Sunday's random thoughts. When your body truly becomes a prison, you become less caring about your external prisons. People who deal with chronic pain, physical, emotional, and mental, are warriors in ways that healthy people have sometimes a hard time recognizing.

Having a disability or chronic pain is not only about limitations when you can't do something. It's also about the price you are paying for doing something.

There survive at least 4 pages that were recovered from the Nazi book burning in 1933. When I saw them posted over on Threads a while ago I recognized the typeset being from Magnus Hirschfeld's Geschlechtskunde. I scanned the corresponding pages and some parts on trans people further in the book:

Glad you want the last chapter of your life being defined by you confirming the fact that you are happy to use trans people to win awards by playing us years ago, but are happy to profit at the expense of us by building your fame while the woman your earning money for actively uses it to kill us.

Not just that but also, to make them feel like whatever hardships that come along that are systemic that cause disabled people to live in poverty, make transport extra hard, etc is ALSO their fault? That’s also a horrible way to show that you “care” or are “worried” for them. 2/3

A lot has been happening…know that I am not okay. To the parents who have disabled children: if you’re worried about them, the worst possible thing you could ever do is make your child feel like their disability is their fault. 1/3

#DEI isn’t just racist. It’s also ableist. DEI includes #Disabled People too. Please do not forget that.

Ps: if you’d like to help support a #DisabledArtist like myself who is also #Jewish among other things, know that I do commission work. And I also have a Threadless site. Link in my LinkTree in my bio 💜 But commissions are really the best way to support me. All $$ go to bills to keep me alive.

Alt text: A digital artwork celebrating Jewish Disability Awareness and Inclusion Month (JDAIM) in February 2025. The background features a textured, watercolor-like blend of pastel colors, including blue, green, pink, and purple, with scattered confetti-like specks. The text “Jewish Disability Awareness & Inclusion Month” is written in a hand-drawn, slightly uneven black font, with “Jewish” stylized in an ornate way. A blue Star of David is painted next to the word “Jewish.” In the bottom corners, there are symbolic illustrations: a green garlic bulb on the left and a blue spoon on the right, both outlined in fine sketchy lines. The date “Feb. 2025” is handwritten in black at the bottom right. The overall style is artistic, with a mix of soft and bold elements, blending disability and Jewish cultural symbolism.

I’m a bit late with this…the reason? B/c I’m disabled, funny enough lol. Because there’re so many months in a year, there’s multiple things things represented every month. This is one of them you might not know about: it’s Jewish Disability Awareness & Inclusion Month. #DigitalArt is mine 💜 #JDAIM

Okay, thanks I guess, but I'm not parking. What I need more than platitudes is my right to do what I want with my own body.

You know, bodily autonomy, and the broader freedom to exist in public life.
