Ten started seed trays under the grow lights, with four packets of seeds still sitting on top of dirtless trays, waiting for us to get closer to last frost.... I could give you my word as a Spaniard?

The feeling when you have planted all the seeds you can start now, and you have to wait another few weeks to start the rest or they'll be ready to plant before last frost and everyone will be sad.

I'm so grateful to how hard my writers' group critted me. I'm still not happy with my writing, but it's loads better than it used to be -- and now when I do other arts, and I have the "why do I suck??" moments, I can say to myself, "Oh look, I tried a thing where I learned something the hard way!"

I love this book. It's one of the ones that kept me from completely spacing out when I was dealing with a family health crisis that required two weeks of FMLA.

A potters wheel where the drip tray is nearly completely full of clay shavings, to the point that some of them are rubbing on the underside of the wheel. A number of tools are scattered on the wheel tray.

I had a good day in the pottery studio, even if the clay was very stiff (I think it was dry? It felt dry) and hard to work with. I still managed to throw a cup, and more importantly, I managed to trim the cups I threw last week, and underglaze and carve them.

The people they are for are enthused.

It's snowing again. I went through the fridge last night and found last year's seeds from where I shoved them to save for this spring, in case things sold out. (And because I'm bad at throwing out garden stuff.)

But I have seeds on order so I probably shouldn't plant these, right? But *snow*... 😅
