We get some incredible wildlife here in BC 🇨🇦 (bear, lynx, wolves) but I love the migratory sandpipers! These little birds fly in massive flocks of up to 80,000 birds to overwinter in our Fraser river delta returning to summer breeding grounds in the Arctic - now that is wild! #worldwildlifeday

I spent the day monitoring Bald eagle nests - this one is very special to me as it’s built above “plastic nest” where 2 babies died last season!
