No barking dogs, no wildly running animals, but trained dogs that treat the geese as prey and 'stalk' them so the geese think they are a predator and wish to be somewhere else making the geese fly away. Demonstrations of dog hazing are available.

Had the thoroughly unpleasant experience of getting tailgated by a Cybertruck, it was like being stalked by a refrigerator. It’s not my first time being underwhelmed by demos, but there’s a vast gap between how raw Caroline’s earliest iterations are and my interest in the songs at that point in their creative process. They do so many compelling things before rendering the songs final, and I’d rather hear alternate paths.

Caroline 2 is a 2025 favorite and they released a deluxe edition with demos (which Rough Trade put on a 12"). The final album is an exciting midpoint between the genesis of an idea and its warped final possibilities. The demos are pure clay: hummed vocals, rehearsal room noise, in-progress guitars.

Just imagine the unbridled glee with which they gave the cart a running push before sending it between the cars
