I know very little about climate science, but doesn't Washington State get mostly rain during this season? My only point is that atmospheric rivers have been a thing for a long time. Attributing every bad weather event to climate change will result in backlash.

I fully believe in climate change and all of the current and potential impacts. In this case, however, how can you be so sure what's happening is due to climate change? Love the Holdren quote by the way...

Keeping it to one missile from an unknown source focused the issues they wanted. No easy answers. Dawn's...was good but realistic? Bomber dropping a nuke to destroy interceptors? Great piece. Only thing I disagree with is the chance that Democrats can force any resignations. This is a different administration from their first time around and the Congressional Republicans are in lockstep.
