Until I got to college, I didn't care for my name all that much because I only knew one other Jeff. My Freshman year, we had three Jeffs on my dorm floor alone (and several more in the college overall--about 600 students in all).

How can he lie so blatantly like that?

Thankfully, it was when I worked in a grocery store and one of the people involved quit before long. I quit a few months after them for other reasons (the job sucked and I was going to be leaving town in less than a year anyway)

I've been around something like that early in my work life (thankfully I can't remember the specifics), but it wasn't pleasant for most of us that worked there.

Not usually. I live in an RV and there is no door to the "bedroom" so it's really easy for one or the other (or both) to get on my bed to wake me up when it's time for them to eat (I set an alarm, but they are remarkably good at telling time).

No way! On weekends when I'm not working my second job (I work as Even Staff at NRG Stadium), they do let me go back to sleep in my recliner, so there is that.

I don't have a picture, by my two cats (Tony and Larry--both named by my kids) held my lap hostage for awhile this morning.

I could use one of those today....I did NOT want to get out of bed...but one of my cats had other ideas. 😀

I defaulted into mine...the previous director retired as did the reference librarian. The college decided to restructure and reduce the staff from four to two and made me the director and did away with my old position.

There are 5 things on there I can't eat (allergies), and about 3 or 4 more that I won't eat depending on how they are prepared.

I've always thought that the quote from Men in Black, ""A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky, dangerous animals and you know it" was pretty spot on. Today, visiting Twitter proves that maybe half of that is wrong (I'm seeing a lot of very dumb individual persons on there yapping today)

I wonder what the people bitching about the use of Spanish in the halftime show would think if they realized that some of their ancestors very likely never learned English? I know one set of my Great-Grandparents spoke only German...and they weren't the only ones.

The President says elections should be nationalized. Isn't that what is done in Russia? GOP preaches "states rights" until things are done they don't like, then the Feds take it over. World's biggest hypocrites.
