As its the 1st of December I've had an annual watch of my 3 favourite Christmas films.
1. Elf - Hello. Buddy the Elf, What's your favourite colour?
2. National Lampoons Christmas Vacation - Shitters full.
3. Trading Places - ... I was poor and no one liked me.
Krampus later, a gem everyone forgets

Sunday morning spins.
So, I have access to Spotify and Qobuz, but this album doesn't appear on a either. What a shame. A delightful gem of an album.

I'd recommend House Of Guinness too. Written by the same people. It's a lot more lighthearted, and a good fun watch.

For the last six weeks I've been watching the whole of Peaky Blinders. I never watched this when it first aired and I'm slightly annoyed with myself. What a brilliant show. The whole Shelby family were deeply unlikeable and horrendous people. But, I liked them. Excellent show.

New release Friday
Max Richter - Hamnet OST
I read the book recently, and it's an absolute masterpiece of literature. It made the 'favourites' shelf. The film is out early next year and I know know it'll destroy me. And Max, my boy Max has done the score. Win, win all round.

Today's random Discogs choice Primal Scream and Higher Than The Sun promo 12" Andy Weatherall remix 1991. From my Our Price days when the label reps would bring in some class freebies. A very dubby remix and it has The Orb mix on the b-side. Can't go wrong.

Today's random Discogs choice Pink Floyd and Dark Side Of The Moon 2016 reissue. Little know album, don't think it was a big seller back in its day. I think it's a soundtrack or something to The Wizard Of Oz. Any hoo... favourite track Eclipse.

Not gonna lie, but the film has a lot to live up to if this is its soundtrack. An astonishing piece of music and I love it!

Oh no! Much like everything in today's climate, they've probably cut costs. I've never had an advent calendar by Lego or Playmobil, I didn't want a tea or coffee one this year. Just fancied something childlike and fun for a change.

I feel like I'm actually living in an episode of The Thick Of It. I didn't realise that it would be the blue print for future politics. I'm pretty sure I could give Malcolm Tucker a good run in the swearing stakes due to the current political state.

Oh yeah. Those names too make me heave. My only hope is that one day, when the time is right, the fall from grace will be a massive long drop that we can all enjoy with a massive bag of popcorn.

He is the only person on earth that physically repulses me. Every morning when I go for my break at 5am, he's always the first item on the news. I'm sure one day my 'not that c**t again' is going to get me dragged up to HR soon.
