DC DOESN'T HAVE ANY MEMBERS OF CONGRESS. SO WE NEED YOURS. DC is home to more people than some states, but we don't have a single voting member of Congress. That means we have no one to advocate on our behalf right now. So we need your help.

SEND A LETTER TO YOUR REPS TELLING THEM TO BE IN SOLIDARITY WITH DC COMMUNITIES. We want Congress to do everything in their power to stand down federal law enforcement, stand down the National Guard, and stop the redirection of our local police department.

While you're writing, we also want members of Congress to stop freezing DC's local budget, like they did earlier this year. We want members of Congress to stop trying to overturn DC laws, like they are doing right now through the federal budget process and with standalone bills. And we want members of Congress to co-sponsor H.R. 51, "The Washington DC Admissions Act," so that DC residents don't have to live through these cycles of attack over and over again.
