I hope people realize how absolutely fucked this situation is.

This isn’t normal. People are resigning all over the place because the government is mishandling our data, ruining our public health services, and generally making Americans less safe.

The person has now been charged with assaulting the police officer who punched them in the face just before his colleague broke their arm. That routinely happens to victims of police violence in Germany to scare them off taking any action. Where is the international media???

After the House first passed the Big, Brutal Bill, my Republican colleagues said they hadn't even read what they voted on.

Today, I joined @repyassansari.bsky.social & my Democratic colleagues to read the entire bill aloud — so this time they won't be able to hide behind that same, pathetic excuse.

This admin is intentionally inundating us with a firehose of chaos. It’s hard to keep track, to stay on top of it all. That is what they want. Your overwhelm is part of their strategy.

But you don’t need to fight at every front. Pick your front, pick what you know or love best, and start there.

I cried, hugged my cats, and reminded myself that Americans will ultimately be 'fine', but that we must continue to use our voices to the injustice happening because of our 'leader'. Trying to help quell panic in others is also helping me.

Oh, and don't be surprised if they start trying to shift attention to Vance. He wants this war just as much as anyone else in the administration.

Many of us who are paying attention aren't.

He was trying to appeal to Bibi. AIPAC is in everyone's pockets and we need to really be paying attention to who in the Senate and House are supporting going to war. Educate yourselves on geopolitics, understand the science behind it so you aren't easily fooled.

More propaganda from Israel on your TV screens. They want to crocodile cry that Iran bombed their hospitals? What about what Israel did to Gaza's hospitals? Their schools? Gaza has essentially been razed.
