Hmmm maybe you're right. I know the thing I saw was definitely more of a drain looking tunnel (like 2m highby 2 meter wide brick lined arch extending into the distance with standing water about 30cm deep)
Can't find the og post, but maybe an archaeology expedition is needed 😂
Yeah, I remember going in there a number of years ago with Matt. I believe those were just shipping storage and stuff related to the Wharf. The other tunnel they found was more towards the fairy walk.

The tunnel seemed to be a lot bigger and mostly covered by rocks and rubble. I've been trying to find the post but it was a lot further around shelley Bay road.
