The Diabetes Awareness Summit was today at the Muscogee Nation's River Spirit Casino Resort.
I did a live paint demo, and the finished piece was presented to a guest.
It's an honor to represent our Mvskoke people with my art at an event that benefits the health and well-being of our people.

Even though I won't be in Santa Fe this weekend for the 103rd Annual Indian Market, two pieces of my artwork will be as part of the group exhibit Keepers of the Land at Sovereign Santa Fe at the LaFonda on the Plaza.
My works in this exhibit are Opvnkv-eshomahtv (Dance Leader) and Ahocetv (To Farm).

Coming up August 21st at Emory University's Michael C. Carlos Museum in Atlanta. Continuum is a two-person exhibition that I will be a part of along with fellow Mvskoke artist Hotvlkuce Harjo. It is curated by the Carlos Museum's Miranda Kyle, the curator of Indigenous Arts of the Americas.
