You are thinking of the Balkenkreuz.
That's a Tatzenkreuz, the symbol of the German armed forces since after WW2.
It does look very similar to the WW2 Version, but has a few differences.
If you look up German Eurofighter typhoons, you will find it as a symbol on the wings.
