Tamiya Morris Mini Cooper 1275S scale model kit disassembled with all component parts displayed. Antenna part is provided as PE. Since it's thin, rebuilt with brass rod and pipe. Tyre needs 'aging' by sanding (original:left and sanded:right). All parts were coated by surfacer now, I need to check points to refine.

Engraved mirror parts. Formula's mirrors are too small to make it tidy.

Installed a nut which will be used for fixing the model to the display case.
Replaced a rod on the camera parts.

Use 1mmT plastic sheet as a spacer at the bottom. The real F1's clearance is 60mm , then it's 1.39mm in 1/43. But I dare use 1mm. All suspension arms are ready and alignment looks OK.

It's a common trap that the original dowel hole is not reliable if it's a garage kit . Once fill a solder and then make a hole at the right position.

The instruction for the rear wing has a failure but not a major problem. The parts are all PE , so no need to worry about a mistake like the front wing.

The front wing is by photo etched brass and a white metal main flap. When fixing using solder, melted a little by mistake. But the recovery is not difficult if only being calm.

Silly plate is provided by a photo etched parts but it's too thin and there will be a step. I cut 0.1mm t brass plate and attatched in-between. Now, it becomes 'flat bottom'.

Induction pod was incomplete due to a failure of the casting. Made a frame by 0.3mm silver nickel rod , and fixed it solder.

Started from engraving panel lines, but unexpectedly the body was very thin then got a hole after engraving a few times. Repaired from behind by solder.
